This workbook is designed for professionals who work with adolescents and young adults to improve anger management. Its practical, step-by-step approach incorporates a group support approach with a life-skills training approach, creating what the author calls a psychoeducational group work model. Anger Management has one major goal for participants: the constructive management of their anger responses. This is accomplished by analyzing mood patterns and triggers for anger, anxiety, and depression; setting goals and linking feelings and actions; practicing techniques for managing uncontrollable anger; giving and receiving support; monitoring progress and celebrating successes.
