This book presents the results of a study in the Boston Public Schools that looks at prejudice and cognitive immaturity. Using Lawrence Kohlberg's theoretical frame, the authors suggest developmental supports for childrens' "moral judgment," concluding that higher stages of development coincide with increasing degrees of respect for ethnically different people.
