HER believes that it is critically important to listen to the voices of people who are working, teaching, and learning inside a variety of educational settings and arts learning environments throughout the world. Therefore, for its upcoming Special Issue Expanding Our Vision for the Arts in Education the Harvard Educational Review is in search of reflective essays and narratives that feature voices of art practitioners who have important knowledge and expertise about teaching and learning in arts education. We are interested in articles focused on what those involved with arts in education have learned through their practice and/or research. We are particularly interested in essays and narratives that contain detailed and thoughtful reflection along with rigorous analysis of ideas, situations, and experiences.
