    Barack Obama and My Education

On January 20th, 2009, Barack Hussein Obama Jr. became the first African-American president of the United States. Obama being in the White House is important for my education for many reasons. One reason is Obama will help our economy, which in turn will help our schools. Another reason is he will make college more affordable by trading community service for college tuition. The final reason is Obama is a great role model. Many children will be inspired by him and work their hardest in school. Obama has all the qualities to make a great president and more.

President Barack Obama plans to help fix America’s economy. This means less budget cuts and more money for schools. Now schools will have more money for supplies and trips so kids will have the opportunity to learn more. Obama is also going to make college more affordable for Americans. He is going to achieve this by trading community service for college tuition. This will help in two ways; the community will get cleaned up and many more people will be able to go to college.

President Obama is an inspiration to many children. One reason kids can look up to him is because he is the first African-American president. He has achieved what others have tried and failed at. Kids can use him as an example. Another reason is he has qualities that are important in a person: honesty, intelligence, and determination. Finally, with Obama as a role model, children will want to achieve more and do even better in school. (I know I do.) Obama will not go down in history as only the first African American president, but also as a great uniter of all people.

President Obama is very important in the restoring of America to its former glory. He plans to help Americans greatly in many ways. America’s schools will benefit from having him as the leader of our country. He plans to unite with Americans and give them what they really need, starting with our schools. Education is a very important issue because children are America’s future and they must be well educated to help America prosper. Who knows, today’s average 5th grade student can be tomorrow’s President of the United States of America. In conclusion, Obama is making a good connection with America’s people.
