About the Author

Jack Schneider is an assistant professor of education at the College of the Holy Cross. He holds a BA in political science from Haverford College, an MA in history from Stanford University, and a PhD in education from Stanford University. A former high school teacher, he lives in Somerville, Massachusetts, where he is active in the public schools.
