Jeremy Finn, Loretta Dulberg, and Janet Reis review crossnational studies of educational attainment, such as those sponsored by the International Association for the Evaluation of Educational Achievement and the United Nations Economic and Social Council, and conclude that, regardless of the type of educational system or extent of opportunity, women are universally disadvantaged educationally.
