    About the site

    Welcome to the website of the Harvard Education Publishing Group (HEPG), a division of the Harvard University Graduate School of Education. The mission of HEPG is to contribute to the knowledge and greater understanding of educational issues that are of central importance in our society today. We are committed to serving as a forum for different perspectives within the field of education and to participating in current debates through a variety of media. We publish the Harvard Educational ReviewCase Studies in Education, and books under the imprint Harvard Education Press. We continue to support the Harvard Education Letter Archive. The material on this site and our publications are intended for the educational, personal, and non-commercial use of our subscribers, registered users, guests, and visitors.

    Fair use

    Our fair use standard is 400 words from an article for personal, non-commercial use only. You may include an excerpt of no longer than 400 words from our site on your blog or website or other work so long as you keep the excerpt intact and include a link to the page on which the original article appears or other similar attribution, as well as retaining all copyright and other proprietary notices.

    Subscriber use

    If you are an individual subscriber to one of our publications, you will have access to all content specific to that product available on the site. If your institution subscribes to one of our products, you may be eligible for additional uses; please contact your institution's librarian/administrator for more information.
